12 Ways to Have More Adventure, Fulfilment, and Purpose in Your Life

Feel free to reply to this email with your thoughts. If you take the next step and try one of these, I definitely want to hear all about it.

12 Ways to Have More Adventure, Fulfilment, and Purpose in Your Life:

  1. Attend an event that is important to a group or culture you don't know much about

  2. Read a book about an obscure topic that interests you

  3. Volunteer for an important cause

  4. Make something with your own hands--anything from a small piece of furniture to a sculpture to a large barn

  5. Start a conversation with a stranger at least once a day

  6. Go to a political rally for a group you disagree with

  7. Visit a place you've never been, and try to act like a local, not a tourist

  8. Have an honest, difficult conversation with someone you care about

  9. Learn a new skill

  10. Give yourself a 30-day deadline to do something on your Bucket List, and then do it!

  11. Show up at a social event at a church, synagogue, temple, or mosque for a religion different from yours

  12. Make your own list like this, and try them all

Do any one of these things, and you’ll increase in knowledge, wisdom, and confidence. But that’s just the start.

As soon as you finish one of these adventures, you’ll start to wonder what else you’re capable of accomplishing.

You will develop amazing creative ideas of your own.

And that’s how you become an adventurer.

That wraps it up for this week.

If you’re enjoying these rants, lessons, tools, and talismans, I would love to hear from you.

If you’re not, I would like to hear from you even more.

Reply to this email and tell me what you think, what you’d like to see in the future, or just to drop me a line about your cat.

I don’t always have the time to reply to your message, but I read every one of them.
